How to Use Your Dashboard

Your complete guide to finding and engaging with potential customers on Reddit

Finding Relevant Posts

The dashboard helps you discover Reddit posts where people are looking for solutions you can provide. Here's how to find the best opportunities:

1

Choose Your Subreddit

Click on one of your saved subreddits at the top of the dashboard. These are communities you've identified as relevant to your business. The selected subreddit will be highlighted in blue.

2

Enter Your Keywords

Type in words that your potential customers might use when discussing problems you solve. For example, if you offer project management software, try keywords like "project tracking, team collaboration, deadline management".

3

Search for Posts

Click the "Search Posts" button. The system will scan Reddit for recent posts in your chosen subreddit that contain your keywords. This typically takes 10-30 seconds.

Pro Tip

Use the "Recent Searches" tags below the search button for quick access to popular keyword combinations that work well in your subreddits.

Understanding Your Results

Once the search completes, you'll see posts that match your criteria. Each post card shows:

📝

Post Title & Content

The main topic and details of what the Reddit user is discussing. Look for posts where people are asking questions or discussing problems your product/service can solve.

📊

Engagement Metrics

You'll see the number of upvotes and comments. Higher numbers mean more people are interested in this topic, making it a better opportunity for visibility.

Action Buttons

Each post has buttons to view it on Reddit, generate a comment, or hide it if it's not relevant to you.

Creating Engaging Comments

The dashboard helps you create authentic, helpful comments that provide value while subtly mentioning your solution:

1

Choose Your Comment Style

Select from the dropdown menu at the top of the results section. Each style creates a different type of response that feels natural on Reddit.

2

Generate a Comment

Click "Generate Comment" on any post. The AI will create a relevant, helpful response based on the post content and your chosen style.

3

Edit and Personalize

The generated comment appears in a text box where you can edit it. Add personal touches, adjust the tone, or include specific details to make it more authentic.

4

Adding Your Marketing Message

The marketing message feature lets you automatically add a subtle promotional message to all your comments:

1

Toggle Marketing Message

Click the toggle switch at the top of the dashboard to turn your marketing message on or off. When it's green, your message will be added to all comments.

2

Write Your Message

Type a brief, non-pushy message about your product or service. Keep it helpful and relevant. For example: "By the way, if you're looking for a tool to help with this, I've been building [product name] - feel free to check it out if it might help!"

3

Preview and Save

The preview box shows how your message will appear at the end of comments. Click "Save Message" to store it for future use.

Important

Keep your marketing message subtle and valuable. Reddit users appreciate genuine help but dislike obvious advertising. Focus on being helpful first, promotional second.

Best Practices for Success

Be Genuinely Helpful

Always provide value in your comments. Answer questions thoroughly, share useful insights, and only mention your product when it's truly relevant.

Personalize Every Comment

While the AI generates a good starting point, always review and adjust comments to match your voice and add specific details that show you really read the post.

Pace Your Activity

Don't post too many comments too quickly. Space them out naturally throughout the day to avoid looking like spam.

Track What Works

Pay attention to which types of comments get the best responses. Use this knowledge to refine your approach over time.

Getting Started

Start with 3-5 high-quality comments per day. Focus on posts with recent activity and genuine questions where you can provide real value. Quality always beats quantity on Reddit!
